Beijing
Must go:
1. Zoo
To see the endangered cute Panda. Is worth it if you like animals
2. Wholesale mkt
Went to 2 of them. There is a custer of wholesale market for mainly appeals, shoes, bags near the zoo near "Xi Zhi Man" MRT.
Anoth one is "Tian Yi" near "Fu Chen Man" MRT. There is a variety of products from tbl runner, appeals, socks to even match boxes.
Beware their opening hr is fr 8am to 430pm. Believe it is a shopping paradise there. Reasonable price & quality
3. "Tian Tan"
Where Qing dynasty Emperor pray to the Gods. The only building built in the Qing dynasty tt is round which std out from the regular sq and rectangular structures.
4. Peking and Tsinghua University
The campuses are beautiful. No wonder it become a tourist attraction. Also recommended in the tour books. Nice to go to sch.. Feel as if I am student. Happy sweet sch memories.
5. The Great Wall of China
Can understd why it is one of the Wonders of the World. Maybe such structure can't be built among the mountain ranges even given current modern technology. Wonder how they do it thousands of years ago. Very amazed. Can imagine how much labour used, blood & sweat shedded to constuct this. Was panting like hell aft climbing a few fleets of steps even though I took the cable car to the mid point..
6. Public toilet
From no door, half length door to full length door. From smelly toilet tt one has to stop their breath to enter to fully automated toilet. Their public toilet cleaniness and hygiene awareness have improved. 3 Cheers for them!!!

Jus back fr holiday. Was away for 9 days. All my leaves are gone but is worth it. Wanted a holiday badly some time back. Hope to travel annually aft I started working. Managed to do for this yr and hopefully in the future too.
Can better afford to travel aft working..
Travel more freq these few yr. Maybe need to go away away to see the big world. Also appreciate Spore more in some ways.
Admit I do look fwd to work abroad such as business trip or relocation. Hopefully I will have such opportunity in near future. Understd I am under-experienced and under-qualified so have to work hard & prove myself
