Single and available Sporean have become a national issue to the govt. simply becos Spore's fertility rate is too way below the replacement rate of 2.1. the govt hope tt more willget marry and start a family. the bigger the family the better it will be instead of stopping at 1 or 2 kids.
somehow being single & available has grow fr a personal issue to a national 'problem'. but sad to say there is nth much to do at times. some may agree / disagree since it is subjective.
maybe the govt can find Mr Cupid to shoot more arrows more accurately? or find "Yue Lao" to use his red stings to tie up more couples more tighly? maybe divorce rate will rate and more marriage will happen??
more single & available gf're worried abt their romance, mkt value and 'expiry date'. many ladies hope, wish and pray hard tt they can be the guy they luve's wife by the age of 30. the ticking biological clock and mother instinct are always reminding women tt they shld get marry ard 30.

i dunno wat can be done. many big cities are facing similar situation. it's a 'international' problem since many cities are haing a greying population in 10 to 20 yr.
Shanghai's latest trend is tt single and available wear a wrist band tt symbolise they are finding a partner. so anyone interested in him / her can tk the initiative to befrend the person. it will increase the chance of being attached. i think Shanghai ia a big place wif many ppl so shld have higher chance of getting attached.
while Taiwan has a ring for the single and available. they even set up website so tt the members can befrend oth.
various websites have web links to allow single to interact and noe 1 anoth.
maybe i shld move to bigger cities / countries??
